Investment Strategy
SWK Holdings was formerly a provider of customer service solutions, operating under the name Kana Software Inc., until the sale of substantially all its assets in December 2009. Following the asset sale, we are seeking to enhance future stockholder value by pursuing opportunities to redeploy our assets through an acquisition of one or more operating companies.
We plan to use a value-focused investment strategy. We will likely seek opportunities in the US and would consider target companies with good returns on equity, substantial free cash flow, solid and defensible market and product positions; experienced management and the ability to expand their business.
